Roasted Asparagus + Brussels

It's amazing what a change it makes to choose a different cooking method, such as grilling or roasting. Adding crisp texture and smoky flavor, interest can spark in you and your household by cooking your veggies differently from just steaming or boiling. Keep the joy of eating by adding variety with this yummy recipe.

Roasted Asparagus + Brussels

Ingredients

•1 bundle fresh asparagus
• 15-20 fresh Brussel sprouts, halved
• 4 t  Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 2-3 t sea salt (to taste)
• 1 t garlic powder

Directions

Preheat your oven to 420*. On a cookie sheet or flat baking pan, spread the vegetables. Drizzle olive oil evenly over them, and sprinkle salt and garlic until lightly coated. Bake in oven 15-20 min, or until the asparagus are reduced and crispy and the Brussels are slightly browned and fork-tender.

This is an easy recipe your family will ask for again and again!
