10 Wellness Tips: How many can you check off?

What do you think of with the word "wellness?" Do you think of feeling well, as opposed to being sick? Eating all the right foods? What about the workout routine you've been meaning to get into? I tend to think of an overall lifestyle that encompasses all of these and more, as many of these facets tend to intertwine to make oneself "well." Here are 10 tips to reflect on:

  1. Pray 
  2. Eat well
  3. Know your numbers: cholesterol, heart rate/blood pressure, weight
  4. Get plenty of sleep (8 hours sounds nice, right?)
  5. Increase your physical activity
  6. Go outside more
  7. Give back i.e. volunteering, listening, forgiving, pay-it-forward
  8. Express feelings/thoughts
  9. Treat yourself
  10. Learn something new
